Air Greenland

Air Greenland is the national airline company of Greenland. It was originally established in 1960 as Greenlandair. Air Greenland currently has 21 aircraft for scheduled services and for charter. Most services are domestic, with one international service to Copenhagen on which nearly 95,000 passengers were carried in 2003.

In 2003 Air Greenland won the US Air Force contract for flights to Thule Air Base (previously held by Scandinavian Airline Systems - SAS). Flights to Thule Air Base started in February 2004.
