A certificate issued in the United Kingdom by the Civil Aviation Authority, required on any machine that is capable of powered flight carry a person, before such a machine is allowed to fly over UK territory. The CAA, an independent quango, monitors and regulates all such affairs regarding civilian aircraft, air safety, and airspace, as well as air crash investigation
