Aurora australis

Aurora australis could mean:

• The Southern Lights, polar aurora that appear in the Southern Hemisphere, less well-known than the "Northern Lights" or Aurora Borealis, or
• The Aurora Australis , an ice strengthened ship owned by P&O, and chartered by the Australian Antarctic Division for Antarctic research and for resupply of Australian Antarctic stations.
