Barium nitrate

Barium Nitrate (BaNO3) is a salt of barium and nitrate.

Like other soluble barium compounds, barium nitrate is toxic and should be handled with care.

Barium nitrate is known for its tendency to "creep" up and spill out of containers.

This stuff is extremely explosive when mixed with Aluminium powder, so handle this with extreme care.
