Bitch magazine

Bitch magazine, which bills itself as a "Feminist response to pop culture," is a quarterly black and white magazine published in California. Articles offer a feminist perspective on current political events; reviews of tv shows, movies, books, and art from a feminist perspective; and interesting interviews with all kinds of people. Not to be confused with conventional women's magazines like Self, Vogue, or Marie Claire, Bitch has longer articles that take women's issues a little more seriously and explore them in greater depth (though it is definitely fun to read and not as dry as say, Ms. magazine). Recommended for those who enjoyed Sassy Magazine in its heyday.
