C Omega programming language

(pronounced C Omega) is a free extension to the C# programming language, developed by Microsoft Research in the UK. Cω attempts to mix traditional coding structures and methodology with data storage mediums such as databases and XML documents.

Allowing queries, reports and updates to be created directly in the code model (and in conjunction with Microsoft Visual Studio within an Intellisense aware Integrated Development Environment), Cω allows for type-safe compile-time checking of the traditionally difficult task of data plumbing (colloquially known as boilerplate code ) together a datastore with an application or service.

Available now as an addon for Visual Studio.NET 2003, Cω may be integrated into the main C# language in future releases.
