Mme Catherine Trautmann (born on 15 January 1951 in Strasbourg)
is a former Minister of Culture of France and now Member of the European Parliament for the East of France.
She is a member of the Socialist Party, part of the Party of European Socialists and sits on the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy .
She is a substitute for the Committee on Culture and Education and also a member of the
Delegation for relations with Canada.
