Claire Coombs

Her Royal Highness Princess Claire of Belgium, former Claire Coombs(born at Bath, England, on January 18, 1974), is the daughter of Nicholas Coombs, a British-born businessman, and his Belgian wife, née Nicole Mertens. She has lived in Belgium since age 3. She is a property surveyor.

On April 12, 2003 she married Prince Laurent of Belgium in Brussels, with a civil ceremony at Brussels Town Hall and a religious ceremony at the Cathedral of Saints Michael and Gudula where she was given the title of Princess of Belgium.

On February 6, 2004 she gave birth to a daughter named Louise Sophie Mary.
