Composition

Composition deals with the bits and pieces that make up things.

• Structure
• Chemistry and physics deal with the composition of materials
• In computer science, a composition is a manner to form data structures with elements where the structure contains data objects or other structures, namely the structure is in the relationship of "has a", rather than "is a", or one-to-one correspondence.
• In mathematics, function composition is a means of creating a new function from two existing functions; in number theory, a composition is similar to a partition, except that order matters.
• Composition may also refer to an agreement, compromise (eg. see Composition of 1867).
