Control theory (sociology)

The control theory is a set of psychological stages in which each stage states a crisis that must be accomplished. Opposing to Erik Erikson's theory, Emile Durkheim suggested this theory to be followed by the age groups and gender rather than social entities. The age groups are pertaining from 1 through 18, where mid-point is the equilibrium stage to the process of the factors that drive the teen to commit such suicide.
