A water slide is a slide with water flowing down it. The water reduces friction so people on it move quickly. Water slides typically run into a swimming pool at the end.
They are popular at water parks, such as the Wet 'n Wild parks located throughout the United States.
In some countries, they are more commonly referred to as hydroslides.
