Davis (MBTA station)

Davis Square Station is located at the intersection of Holland Street, Elm Street, and College Avenue, in Somerville. It opened on December 8, 1984. Its facilities include:

• a station on the Boston subway's Red Line
• a bus terminal for local routes
• bicycle parking and a connection to the Somerville Community Path
• public art, including tiles made by local school children during station construction and an installation of life-size sculptures.

Attractions

• Tufts University, about a 12 minute walk north along College Avenue.
• theater and cinema
• shops and restaurants.

Davis Square has become very popular with young adults in the area.
