De Stijl is the second album by American rock band The White Stripes, released in 2000 (see 2000 in music). The album reached #38 on Billboard magazine's Top Independent Albums chart in 2002. "De Stijl" is the name of a Dutch art movement and means "The Style". It is pronounced "De Style" or "De Steel" (Jack's preference).

Jack sang, "I wish I had a little red box to put my best friends in. I'd take them out...and put them back again."
