Deadhorse is a town in Alaska (AKA Prudhoe Bay). This town is on one of the most northern longitudinal lines in North America (or even the world) that is open to the public. Anything northerly beyond Deadhorse is privately restricted to authorized personnel only. Besides, very few tourists reach that far north.
Many reserves north of Deadhorse are prime petrol (oil) reserves that are rather important to the petrol industry of the US and other nations. Sometimes tanker boats and probably Semi tanker trucks mobilize to extract fine, pure oil for the growing economy in the USA, Canada, Mexico and other countries with a need for petroleum products.
