Desiccant

A desiccant is a substance that adsorbs moisture from the air.

They are most commonly used to adsorb moisture from the air that would normally destroy or degrade products sensitive to moisture.

Silica gel, Montmorillonite clay , and Molecular Sieves are commonly used as desiccants.
