Diablo wind

Diablo wind is a regional term for the foehn wind that often occurs in the San Francisco Bay Area. The term is often used because many of the winds originate off of nearby Mount Diablo. Locally, the term "Santa Ana wind" is often also used, although that would more accurately refer to foehn winds in Southern California.
