Doric

Doric, a synonym of Dorian, may refer to any of the following:

• The Dorians, one of the ancient Hellenic races,
• Doric Greek, the dialect of the former,
• the Doric order and its distinctive Doric column, in ancient Greek architecture,
• the Dorian mode in music, also called the "Doric mode",
• or the Doric dialect of Lowland Scots.
