Dragan Čović is a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representing the nation's Croat population.

He was elected in October 2002 to serve a four-year term. He was taking his eight month turn as leader of the presidency between 2003 and 2004.

Before his election he had been a senior minister in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a lecturer at the University of Mostar .
