ETPFEST (all in one word; short for "Eerie Taiji People Festival") is to Korea what mega-shows such as Lollapalooza are to the United States.
Spearheaded by Korean rock icon Seo Taiji, ETPFEST is an annual event that features some of the top international hard-rock and rap-metal bands from America, Korea, and Japan. Taiji describes the event as, "21st century's best International rock festival."
ETPFEST began in 2001.
ETPFEST 2004, held in Korea's Jamsil Olympic Stadium , featured such acts as American bands Hoobastank and Zebrahead, Japanese band PE'Z, and Korean hardcore band Pia.
