The title of Earl Brassey was created in 1911 for Lord Brassey, the former governor of Victoria. The title became extinct upon the death of the 2nd Earl in 1919.
The Earl bore the subsidiary titles of Viscount Hythe (1911) and Baron Brassey (1886).
