Ed Macauley

Ed Macualey (born March 22, 1928 in Saint Louis, Missouri), is a former professional basketball player. He went to St. Louis University High School, and than went on to Saint Louis University, where SLU won the NIT championship in 1948. He played in the NBA with St. Louis Hawks and Boston Celtics and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1960.

In 1989 Macauley was ordained a deacon of the Catholic Church. He is co-author of the book Homilies Alive: Creating Homilies That Hit Home (ISBN 0896225747).
