Edgerton Hartwell

Edgerton Hartwell, II (born May 27, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada) is an inside linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL.

Hartwell was drafted with the 31st pick of the fourth round by the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens out of Western Illinois University. Hartwell played for the Ravens from 2001 to 2004. Hartwell never missed a game, though he was limited to special teams in 2001. He would be a great run-stopper for the next three seasons.

When he became a free agent after 2004, he was signed to a six-year $26.25 million contract by the Falcons.
