Ferndown is a small town in Dorset, England, lying north of Bournemouth and east of Wimborne Minster. The town has a population of 16,664 (2001).
Like most of Dorset, it has a largely elderly population (41.4% are retired). On the outskirts of the town lies an industrial estate.
