FluMist

FluMist is a nasal spray vaccine against the flu. It is the first flu vaccine in the U.S. that is given as a nasal spray. FluMist is sometimes referred to as LAIV for Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine because it contains attenuated (weakened) live viruses. FluMist is now the recommended type of flu immunization for all healthy people ages 5 to 49.
