Isa Boletini

Isa Boletini (aka Iso Boljetinac/Исо Бољетинац) (1864-1916) was a leader of armed bands of kachaks, considered terrorists and bandits by Serbia and freedom fighters by Albania. He sought the inclusion of Kosovo in Albania from 1912 until his death. He started off as an agent of the Belgrade government during the early 1900s, when Albanians lived under Ottoman rule.

Boletini was killed by Montenegrin forces in Podgorica in 1915, as he tried to take over the town following the retreat of the Royal Government in the wake of the Austro-Hungarian military onslaught.
