Krosno

Krosno (in full The Royal Free City of Krosno, Polish: Królewskie Wolne Miasto Krosno) is a town in south-eastern Poland with 49,400 inhabitants (1995).

Situated in the Subcarpathian Voivodship (since 1999), previously capital of Krosno Voivodship (1975-1998).

(Note: Do not confuse Krosno with Krosno Odrzańskie in the Lubusz Voivodship.)
