Mount Gay rum originates from Barbados. It was first produced in 1703 and is one of the world's famous fine rums. Several varieties are produced, including white, aged, flavored (both mango and vanilla flavors are produced), as well as the flagship brand: Mount Gay Eclipse.
One popular way of serving Mount Gay Rum is by mixing with a dash of coke, some ice and a slice of lime.
