The NaviDrive system is voice-activated radio, CD player, telephone, modem and satellite navigation system (GPS) all in one unit. It includes a special function for reading back incoming text messages and dedicated buttons for dialling up the emergency or recovery services (to whom it can indicate the car position).
And in the future, in the event of a crash where the airbags deploy an emergency text message could be transmitted to the local emergency services.
