Neponset River

The Neponset River is a river in eastern Massachusetts. It flows from Foxborough into Boston Harbor in Massachusetts Bay, forming the boundary between the city of Boston and the cities of Quincy and Milton. It also travels through the towns of Canton, Dedham, Norwood, Sharon and Walpole.

The Neponset was the destination of the first railway in the United States, and the source of power for the first mills in the Thirteen colonies.
