Nesodden is a municipality in the county of Akershus, Norway.
Nesodden is located on the tip of the peninsula between main Oslofjord and its arm Bunnefjorden . It includes the villages Fjellstrand, Bjørnemyr, Nesoddtangen, and Fagerstrand, which is also the name of a reality show that is filmed on Fagerstrand and aired on TV 2. Nesoddtangen has ferry connections to Asker, Bærum and Oslo.
A curious fact about Nesodden is that the Russian communist leader Leon Trotsky boarded the tanker there that would take him to Mexico and his death by one of Stalin's assassins.
