North London

North London is that part of Greater London that is north of the River Thames. It includes most of the historic city including the City of London and the City of Westminster, and most of the London Underground network.

The London Boroughs of North London are Barking and Dagenham, Barnet, Brent, Camden, the City, Ealing, Enfield, Hammersmith and Fulham, Haringey, Havering, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Newham, Redbridge, Richmond (partial), Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest.

Colloquially North London normally does not refer to boroughs such as Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hounslow, or Richmond, which are normally considered to be in West London. Similarly the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham , The City, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest are usually considered to be in East London.
