Peniche is a city in Portugal, with approximately 15,600 inhabitants (27315 in the municipality).

There are six freguesias in the municipality (three in the city and three in the rural area):

  • Ajuda (Peniche)
  • Atouguia da Baleia
  • Conceição (Peniche)
  • Ferrel
  • São Pedro
  • Serra d'El-Rei


The Berlenga Islands are off the coast of Peniche.
