Philippe Vandevelde, working under the pseudonym Tome or Philippe Tome (born February 24, 1957 in Brussels), is a comic strip script writer. With Janry he has worked on Spirou and Le Petit Spirou , and with Luc Warnant and Bruno Gazzotti on Soda.
An operation left him blind for a short while at the age of five. His first experience with comic strips was at that time, when Tintin's King Ottokar's Sceptre and Corentin are being read to him.
