Pleniglacial

Paleoclimatologists call the current age of the Earth a Glacial Epoch . Although there are many subtleties recently discovered, such epochs are divided into interglacials and ice ages. Currently we are in an interglacial.

Now the French accept the term "interglacial", as it is composed from terms in the international scientific vocabulary. But they have replaced the term "ice age" with "pleniglacial", literally, "the fullness of ice". You will find this term in works from the French language or French paleoclimatoligists that are either poorly or partisanly translated.
