The Project Arts Centre is a venue for cutting-edge visual art and performance located in Dublin's Temple Bar.
Founded in 1967 after a successful three week festival in 1967 the Project Arts Centre had several homes before locating in 2000 to a purpose-build space containing two auditorums, a gallery and a bar. The Project has often been controversial and has sometimes had internal difficulties but thoughout its history it has played an important role in the Irish arts scene. It was for along time associated with Rough Magic Theatre .
