Proturan

(Redirected from Protura)

Acerentomidae
Eosentomidae
Protentomidae Proturans (Order Protura) are one of the three hexapod groups that are no longer considered insects (along with Collembola and Diplura). These are minute, whitish, entognathous animals less than 1.5 mm in length. Proturans lack both eyes and antennae. Because they lack antennae they are often seen with their fore-legs held up as tactile organs.
