• It is an extreme, energized usually explosive state of anger, typically coinciding with an adrenaline rush. Typically however this state does not last long, and can lead to feeling tired. In this particular case rage is synonymous with fury.
• It can be another word for rabies.
• It is a game developer (Rage Games Limited), for games like Incoming, Incoming 2 etc.
• It is the name of the contagious disease in the movie 28 Days Later.
• It is the title of the book Rage by Richard Bachman.
• It is the name of the German heavy metal band Rage.
• It is shorthand that refers to '90s rock band Rage Against the Machine.
• It is a music video show in Australia (on the ABC television channel).
