Rakshasa

A rakshasa is a demon or evil spirit in Hindu mythology. A female Rakshasa is called a Rakshasi. Rakshasas, male and female, are notorious for disturbing sacrifices, harassing priests, devouring human beings, and so on. The great 10-headed demon Ravana, enemy of Rama, was king of the rakshasas.

In Dungeons & Dragons Rakshasas are mentioned in the Monster Manual as powerful, evil sorcerers who are particularly weak to blessed arrows.
