Ramagupta

Ramagupta was the eldest son of the two sons of Samudragupta. He was not a true warrior and his sword was a sort of jewellery for him. Chandragupta was already engaged to Dhruvaswamini but Ramagupta forcibly married her. Ramagupta put into action evil laws and a time came when it looked like the Gupta Empire had come to an end. But finally ChandraguptaII defeated and killed his brother Ramagupta and ascended the throne.
