Ray Mears (born 1964) is an author and TV presenter best known in the field of survival, and founder of Woodlore, School of Wilderness Bushcraft. Ray has been teaching survival skills since 1983 and is recognized worldwide as an authority on the subject of bushcraft .
Ray Mears has authored several books and appeared in various television series devoted to the subject of survival: Tracks, World of Survival, The Essential Guide to Rocks, Trips Money Can't Buy (with actor Ewan McGregor) and The Real Heros of Telemark.
