Russian Space Forces is the department of Ministry of Defence of Russian Federation.
The main tasks of Russian Space Forces are:
informing of the higher political leaders and military commanders about missile attack as soon as possible;
anti-missile defence;
creation, deployment, maintenance and control of in-orbit group of space vehicles.
