Scilab

Scilab is numerical computational package developed by INRIA, France. It is Open-Source Software (Scilab license). It is available precompiled for a large variety of commonly used architectures. Scilab has been widely used in several industry and research projects, and many contributions have been made by users. The syntax is similar to MATLAB but the two are not compatible, there is a converter included in scilab for Matlab=>Scilab Conversions. The latest version is Scilab 3.0
