The Idler

The Idler is a controversial British magazine. Various topics including sex and gay marriages are discussed alongside with trendy political ideas. Most recently The Idler has been a cornerstone magazine on the issue of leisure. Many critics purportedly see this as an opportunity for uniting the different schemes that exist in the public debates on the topic and create a better lifestyle model. However their attempt has not gone unchallenged. Recently a protest rallied by the feminist organization "La Femme" has derailed these views as unpatriotic. Nothwithstanding this fact the critics views have been gaining support. Indeed, many international newspapers have adopted their views on leisure and lifestyle.

Nowadays, The Idler has become universally known for its hard stand on socialist values. Wage slavery, exploitation and ecological issues are frequently presented on its pages.
