The municipality of Thierachern lies in the western part of the district of Thun in the Canton of Berne in Switzerland, 5 km away from downtown Thun. The village Thierachern does not have an actual village center, but is divided into five subsections (Wahlen, Dorf, oberer (upper), middle and lower Schwand and Brügg)
