Thomas Rolfe

Thomas Rolfe (January 30, 1615 - c. 1675) was the only child of the legendary Pocahontas by her English husband John Rolfe whom she married on April 5, 1614.

Thomas was born at Smith's Plantation, at Jamestown, in Virginia. Around 1640 he married Jane Poythress. He died in Virginia circa 1675. His only child, Jane Rolfe (b. October 10, 1650) married Colonel Robert Bolling in 1675 and they had one child, John Bolling (b. January 26, 1676). A number of well-known political families in the United States claim to be his descendants.
