Tim "Herb" Alexander (born April 10, 1965) is a drummer who has played in the rock band Primus, the experimental/indie group Laundry, the theatrical/experimental group Blue Man Group, and occasionally with the Las Vegas-based improvisational rock band Uberschall. His nickname comes from his fondness for herbal remedies.
Tim left Primus in 1996, only to rejoin in 2003 for the album Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People and recent tours.
