West Prussia

One of four districts of East Prussia in 1920 - 1938. Major cities of West Prussia: Elblag (Elbing), Malbork (Marienburg), Kwidzyn (Marienwerder).

In 1919 after World War I most of Imperial German Province of West Prussia (the former province of the same name in Kingdom of Prussia) was handed to Poland, the eastern remainder joined to the German Weimar Republic province of East Prussia as a district called West Prussia.
